Robert Sapiro, Administrator at Green Acre, A Bahá’í Center of Learning, in Eliot, Maine, has more than 20 years experience facilitating seminars, meetings and workshops on community building throughout New England both as part of the Bahá’í community and for White People Challenging Racism: Moving from Talk to Action. Using the Asset Mapping process, he kick-started ELIOT Connects, a community-based collaboration initiative, which brings together people and organizations to enrich the well-being and vibrancy of the community. Robert is also artist by training and calling, having attended the School of Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University where he studied painting, poetry and dabbled in stand-up comedy.
